Sacred Earth Workshop

Come join us for a deeply restorative day of healing and sacred connection. We will tap into Mother Gaia's wisdom and learn practices that will encourage you to infuse your gardening and your life with a deeper sense of love and connection with all that you do AND all around you. You will learn about connecting with Creator/Great Mystery and Mother Gaia, honoring the spirit of the land, sacred gardening practices and planetary healing. This workshop sources from Mare Cromwell's over 21 years of studies with Native American teachers and other spiritual mentors and her direct communications with Mother Gaia. Mare has been told by one gifted Native American elder that her work with Mother Gaia is in the prophecies.

We will be gathering at Stone Meadow Farm-  a beautiful 14 acre farm in Smithsburg, MD, just 1.25 hours west of Baltimore and 1.25 hours north of DC. This farm is the home and yoga practice center of Simone Heurig. Directions will be sent after registration.

HPN Book Discussion Group & Bag Lunch

Greetings Radiant Beings / Book Buddies!

The HPN Book Discussion Group and Bag Lunch meets at the home of Terry & Steve Klunk (497 Clearview Road in Hanover), from 10am-1pm, on the 4th Monday of the month. We’ll take some time to discuss the current book and have lunch together.

We are exploring:

DNA of the Spirit, Volume 1: A Practical Guide to Reconnecting With Your Divine Blueprint by Rae Chandran

Last month we practiced each of the Mudras and related sounds as we examined each of the illustrations that went along with them. We really had the energy moving! Some of the Mudras were difficult to do at first, but it seemed that it became easier as we held the position. It was a fun morning!

On June 26th we will be exploring Chapters 2 (The History of Human DNA), 3 (The Awakening of Crystalline Consciousness),  and 4 (Working with Energy to Raise DNA Levels).

Bring your thoughts, ideas and questions and your lunch and be prepared for an enjoyable en-lightening morning. And feel free to bring a friend!

We look forward to seeing you then!

Brunner Island Coal Plant Permit Comment Opportunity

For the first time in 11 years, citizens will have the opportunity to comment on the operations of the biggest source of pollution in south central Pennsylvania. Although we approve of some of the improvements in the new permit, some of these improvements won’t come into effect for another 6 years. There is no need to delay the pollution reductions that they have the ability and funding to make. Our comments will reflect this position, and our concerns over long-term groundwater pollution from the decades of toxin-laden coal ash that is buried in York County. Even if you don’t want to personally provide comments, you can support our efforts by attending.  Please join us on Monday, July 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Union Fire Company, 201 York St., in Manchester, York County. Those wishing to speak are asked to register in advance by contacting John Repetz of DEP by phone at 717-705-4904.
